Notes
Earth, humidity and wetness, 22.5 x 17.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee we worship and Thee we seek help... All the leaves are braided in gold and framed in red and black. It was restored in a very bad way that obliterated some of the writing and affected the reading of some, although it was a very great effort because the leaves were loose and modern paper was used for restoration at the edges of the pages and at the heel. The Ka'b was made into a woven fabric to be a marker for the reader. The Fatiha was beautifully decorated with drawings, its ground was gilded, and it was between the verses inside a rectangle whose sides were decorated with repeated floral decorations. Above it was a decorated rectangle and below it, then an external decoration resembling a dome. The pages were framed on the text in gold, then a red rectangle, then black. The leaves were greatly affected by the grounding and their restoration was very bad. It is most likely Indian to cover the restoration with some numbers written in their style. The copyist is not obligated to make the end of the verse the end of the page, but rather the verses are connected between the pages. He does not adhere to the Uthmani drawing in his writing, but rather mixes it with dictation a lot. The information line of the Surah is written in two upper lines and two lower lines, and the name of the Surah, its revelation, and verse are written in red. He may include what is left of the previous Surah and cram the writing with the information of the Surah in red. He may make a mistake in mentioning the total number of verses in the Surah, as he did in Surat Ibrahim, which is mostly according to the Kufi number and does not adhere to the spread, but rather mixes the numbers. The separator mark is a circle framed in black and is gilded. The names of the surahs are varied in a way that is not known now, such as Surah (Al-Mu’minun), which he called (Al-Mu’minun), and the doctrine of its reading is according to the exacting according to the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim Al-Kufi, and some of the readings may be marked in red as in (Sidda) Yasin. In cases of omission, he puts it in the footnotes or inside the text, and he may write wrong verses and then cross out a line. He sometimes comments the readings - and this is rare - in the footnotes, as well as stopping and starting the explanation, both of which are in red. There are signs of the parts that he writes inside the form of an ornament in the footnote in red, framed in black, and the frame is filled with gold, as well as the tithes, parties, bowing signs and their symbols in the footnote (A) in red. At the end of the supplication, there is a seal not in the handwriting of the author of the Qur’an. It is commented in the footnote “You seek refuge” at the beginning of Surat Al-Tawbah. It was arranged incorrectly after restoration in five places. There is a missing leaf after Surat Al-Dhuha. The mixed leaves have been numbered in their correct place. There is a complete supplication for the Qur’an from (391-393). Q. 1 and 2, gilded and decorated with geometric and floral decorations, colored with blue ink in the form of a frame surrounding the text. The end of the manuscript: Among the evil of the whisperer is the deceitful one who whispers into people’s breasts from heaven and humanity.
