Strekalowsky. The following artists also contributed - M. Fischer, H. Bindhart and E. Kassessinoff. The epilogue design is the work of Bernard Rice. Elsa Masters has engraved the Dedication design for the book. W.E.A. Masters has made a woodcut to illustrate "The old, old story" design. P.S. Searight has contributed two designs for the margins of the History pages. M. Rice has contributed several wood engravings to the history and customs section, and many engravings by students of the School of Fine Art, Cairo, are also contained therein. Salah Chiaty, one of the staff of the School of Applied Art, Cairo has put at the author's disposal numerous wood and linoleum engravings. Photographic pages are by many artists of the camera in Egypt. A map has been designed by J.H. Rowntree, M.B.E. The author has designed the two outer covers of the book"--Title page verso (page 6)., "Also history and customs of Siwa Oasis"--Cover., Includes an illustrated publishers book plate on inside front cover.
