Notlar	Applying the metaphor (majaz) by al-Quran is an important element in the discussion of Arabic literature, it has a strong association in providing accurate understanding of things. The majority scholar of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah agreed that the nature of the texts, such as the mutashabihat words like yad (hand), istiwa (seated), wajh (face), ‘ayn (eye) and the other relative words related to Allah SWT were embraced the debate of majaz in the al-Quran. However, there are a few of a scholar claimed that the nature of the mutashabihat texts same as the muhkamat texts are clearly understood, and its contradict of the majority of scholars Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah. The implication of this situation arising polemic between the Muslims scholars, particularly should not interpret the texts as described by the nature of mutashabihat and its seemingly distortion in the interpretation of the al-Quran. Thus, by utilizing the method of content analysis, this study will examine the implications of the denial of majaz in al-Quran on the nature of the mutashabihat texts in influencing thought faith of Muslims. The study found that the majaz is one of the elements in order to understand and interact with the texts of the al-Quran, particularly in relation to understanding the text, either through two dimensions like tafwid by Salaf or interpretation by Khalaf. As a result the denial majaz in the interpretation of the al-Quran means characterized Allah SWT with inappropriate qualities like the other creatures. The study also concluded that the denial of majaz in al-Quran by Muslim caused falling into the Mushabbihah or Mujassimah thought.
