Notes
Sait Çiya's work Her Çi Beno Sanıke, published in 2001, is the second novel written in Zazaki. One of the first striking features of the novel is its fiction. The novel, which is based on the dialogues of two voices who perceive the world very differently from each other, offers different perspectives to the reader. Thematically, exile is the first issue brought to the reader's attention. Depressive feelings have reached an unbearable level for the character and Germany has turned into a corridor where it is impossible to breathe. Longing for the mother tongue is one of the other important themes of the novel. For the character who cannot hear even a word of his own language in Germany, it is as if there was a Noah's flood and all the people who spoke his own language died there. What happened in Dersim in 1938 is covered in almost all its dimensions in the work. On the other hand, important motifs of fairy tales and folk narratives are included in the novel.
