In this study, Hz. Rumors that the Prophet fasted in the first nine days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah were discussed. These narrations were examined in three groups according to their content. The first group hadith, Hz. "I have never seen the Prophet fast in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah," as reported by the order Aisha > Aswad > Ibrahim. constitutes the narration. In the second group, Hz. Some of the wives of the Prophet >Hüneyde b. Halid's wife > Hüneyde b. Khalid and Muaz b. It is reported in two different traditions: Muaz > Ibn Aun: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) fasted for nine days in the month of Dhul-Hijjah, on the day of Ashura, three days of each month, on Mondays and Thursdays." The hadith has been evaluated. In the third group, Abu Hurayra > Said b. The hadith, which is narrated in two different ways: Musayyeb > Qatada and Hasan > Hisham > Suleyman > Jafar channels, "There is no day more valuable to Allah Almighty than the worship performed in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. One day of fasting during these days is equivalent to a year and a night that includes the night of power" is discussed. Therefore, in order to reach a consistent conclusion, first of all, all the narrations on the subject in question were brought together and evaluated. The contradictions between the narrations in terms of meaning have been explained and a common text regarding the fasting of the month of Dhul Hijjah has been reached by taking into account the authentic narrations.
