Notes This study discusses the general conditions of education in the town of Mahis, which is located in Balqa Governorate, from the late Ottoman era until the beginning of the eighties of the last century, and the axes of the educational process that include the Ministry of Education and then the Ministry of Education, and the duties of employees in the ministry and the Balqa Education Directorate such as the education inspector, male and female teachers, as well as the town’s schools that were established before 1981, the educational process and its various stages, and the general conditions of students in the classrooms, with coverage of the names of male and female teachers and principals from the background. The first on whose shoulders was the preparation of the old youth. Our main source in this study is the records of grades and results in schools, which are many and varied, and enriched the study with much and varied information, such as the beginnings of the educational process, the numbers of students, the nature and details of the curriculum that was taught, its various subjects, the subjects that were taught, the grades and levels in each school, and some details related to the evaluation that was practiced by faculty members, as well as the levels of students, their social and health conditions, the types of education, and the numbers of students, which we noticed had a steady increasing nature over the years. We also resorted to some Other sources such as government documents and recent literature.
