Notlar	اشتمل على المقدمة والتي تضمنت دور الكتاب المقدس وتأثيره على الفنان المسيحي في توضيح المعاني الدينية، ونجاح الفنان المسيحي في خلق أشكال وأساليب مختلفة ومتنوعة في الزخرفة بطريقة مبسطة لها دلالات رمزية كما تضمن تعريف المخطوط والإشارة إلى المخطوطات المسيحية، ودور أغنياء الأقباط والرهبان في نسخ المخطوطات والاهتمام بها في هذه الفترة التاريخية المهمة من حكم الدولة العثمانية، كما تناول البحث تعريف الرمزية في المسيحية وأسباب استخدام الرمزية في المسيحية وذلك لتبسيط المفاهيم الدينية، وكذلك ما تعرض له المسيحيون الأقباط لفترات اضطهاد في العصور المبكرة مما جعلهم يمارسون عقائدهم بطريقة سرية واستخدموا الرمزية من أجل ذلك، وتم تناول بعض الرموز التي ظهرت في تصاوير المخطوطات في الفترة من القرن السابع عشر الميلادي إلى القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي، وتم التوصل إلى نتائج مهمة في هذا البحث منها استخدام الزخارف المتنوعة سواء هندسية أو نباتية أو رسوم طيور وحيوانات مع اختلاف مدلولها الرمزي، وأن العامل الديني هو المحرك الأساسي في استخدام العناصر الزخرفية، كذلك ابتكار الفنان القبطي أشكال زخرفية جديدة في بدايات المخطوطات والهوامش تشير إلى كثير من المعاني الرمزية المختلفة، وأوضح البحث أن التأثير المصري القديم واليوناني والروماني قد ساهم في تأكيد المفهوم الرمزي في التصوير القبطي. The research is entitled “The Symbolism of Artistic and Decorative Elements in Illustrations of Some Christian Manuscripts in Egypt in the Period of the 17th-19th Century AD,” archaeological, artistic study, by nashat hassan mohammed gaber. It included the introduction, which included the importance of the role of the Bible and its influence on the Christian artist in clarifying many religious meanings, and the success of the Christian artist in creating different and diverse shapes and styles of decoration in a simplified manner that has symbolic connotations. It also included the definition of the manuscript and reference to Christian manuscripts, and the role of the rich Copts and monks in Copying manuscripts in this important historical period of Ottoman rule. The research also explained the definition of symbolism in Christianity and the reasons for using symbolism in Christianity in order to simplify religious concepts, as well as the periods of persecution that Coptic Christians witnessed in the early ages, which made them practice their beliefs in a secret way and used symbolism for that. Some of the symbols that appeared in the manuscripts’ depictions were discussed in the seventeenth century AD to the nineteenth century AD. There are important results in this research, including the use of various decorations, such as geometric and plant decorations, and drawings of birds and animals, and their different symbolic meanings. Likewise, the religious factor is the basis for the use of decorative elements. The Coptic artist also created new decorative forms at the beginnings of manuscripts and in the margins that indicate many meanings. Different symbolism. The research showed that the ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman influence contributed to confirming the symbolic concept in Coptic painting.
