Notes Ibn Berracān (d.536/1142) is an important Sufi who lived in Andalusia. Two separate commentaries and a work on the commentary of divine names have survived to the present day. It is possible to find his evaluations of most Sufi issues in these works. As far as we know, no commentary has been made on the works of Ibn Barracān. The only exception to this is the Sufi Meḥmed Ṭāhir Lālezārī (d.1204/1789), one of the Ottoman scholars who lived in the 18th century. Lālezārī wrote a treatise called ed-Durrātu'l-Beyḍāʾ, which comments on Ibn Barracān's inferences based on the issue of Allah's ascension to the Throne expressed in the 54th verse of al-Aʿrāf surah. In his treatise, Lālezārī focuses on what needs to be done in order for the soul to dominate the body in the struggles between the soul and the soul in the body. In our article, we analyzed, researched and translated this treatise of Lālezārī. Ibn Barrajān (d.536/1142) is an important Sufi who lived in al-Andalus. His two different exegesis and an eisegesis of divine names have survived to the present day. It is possible to find his evaluations on tasawwuf in these works. As far as we know, no eisegesis on works of Ibn Barrajan was made after him, except for Sufi Meḥmed Ṭāhir Lālezārī (d.1204/1789), one of the Ottoman scholars. Lālezārī wrote in a treatise named al-Durra al-Bayḍāʾ, which eisegetes the inferences that Ibn Barrajān wrote about istiwāʾ expressed in verse 54 of the Surah al-Aʿrāf. In his treatise, Lālezārī emphasizes what needs to be done for the soul to dominate the body. In the article, we analyzed, investigated, and translated this treatment of Lālezārī.
