• المدخل: الأهمية والمقاربة المنهجية. • أهمية البحث، وأهدافه. أ- الأهمية: تتمثل أهمية الدراسة في خطورة هذه الأوبئة والأمراض على ملتقى الحجاج. ب- أهداف البحث: 1- وصف بيئة وجغرافية مكة وجدة، والوضع السياسي. 2- بيان نشأة الحجر الصحي، والمحاجر الصحية في الحجاز. 3- استعراض وتحليل شهادات الرحالة الأجانب عن الأوبئة والمحاجر الصحية. من منطلق أن طبيعة الموضوع (في كلياته وجزئياته) هي التي ترسم بالأساس ملامح المقاربة المنهجية التي ينبغي اعتمادها في البحث؛ ونظراً لطبيعة هذه الدراسة التاريخية، فقد فرض موضوع البحث استخدام الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ لبيان ظروف ظهور الأوبئة والمحاجر الصحية، في الحجاز، وجهود الحكومات لمقاومة هذه الأوبئة. •used Introduction: The importance and methodological approach:The importance of research, and its objectives.A) Importance: The importance of the study is represented in the seriousness of these epidemics and diseases at the Hajj Union.B) Research objectives:1) Description of Makkah and Jeddah environment, geography, and political situation.2) Explanation of the origins of quarantine and quarantines in Hijaz.3) Review and analysis of foreign travelers' witnesses for epidemics and quarantines.The research methodology: The nature of the topic (in its minor and complete parts) determines the features of the methodological approach that should be adopted in the research.
