Notes	Dramatic costumes are considered the first element in which the artist appears, as they precede all dramatic elements, and thus they are the first and visual identification tool for the characters in the dramatic work. The historical series is considered a witness to an era in all its details. Therefore, historical costumes were of great importance in embodying the historical events in the series because they are generally linked to a specific time period. Historical identity is determined through the styles of the costumes, as they serve as a record of information through which the visual form of designing the appropriate costume for the dramatic work can be achieved according to the social, economic, and political levels. There is no doubt that Turkish historical drama has a great impact on the recipient due to its artistic richness and richness in the field of fashion and its complements. From this standpoint, the researcher thought of conducting an analytical study of Ottoman women’s fashion in the historical Turkish series (Sultana Kosem). This series was chosen due to its wide spread and high viewing rates throughout the Arab world and outside it, and also because the story of the series revolves around one of the most important and greatest sultans of the Ottoman Empire, namely Sultana Kosem, wife of Sultan Ahmed I, the fourteenth sultan of the Ottoman Empire. A dramatic treatment of the series’ fashions and a description and analysis of the most famous women’s fashion styles in it were done. The results proved that the analytical study of women’s fashions in the series, the subject of the research, gave impressive results to be the basis for proposing contemporary clothing designs. In fact, a group of 18 fashion designs was created, and all of these designs obtained high arithmetic averages, which indicates their acceptance as innovative design ideas that carry the spirit of the times.
