Ferdinand I. was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was the grandson of the most powerful European ruler at that time, Maximilian I. Caesar of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, and his mother`s father was the Spanish king, the Catholic Ferdinand. Charles V. assigned his brother, Ferdinand I. to manage the affairs of Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation on his behalf because Charles V. was always busy with the situation of his Spanish kingdom and the French danger. Controlling the Empire was very difficult at the time of Ferdinand I. because it faced two dangerous problems. The first difficulty was Martin Luther, and the second one was the Ottoman threat. This cause trouble for Ferdinand I. throughout his reign time. The research adopts the analytical historical and scientific approaches in collecting data depending on German references to analyze and compare the data collected.
