Notlar	Short versified treatise ( urjūzah , see f. 3v, line 5) on arithmetic and geodesy entitled al-Bāḥah fī ʿilmay al-ḥisāb wa-al-misāḥah (الباحة في علمي الحساب والمساحة, see f. 3v, line 6) by Ibrāhīm ibn ʿUmar al-Biqāʿī (إبراهيم بن عمر البقاعي, d. 1480). The composition of the text was completed on 25 Rabīʿ II 836/19 December 1432 and the present copy was transcribed by its author two days later, on 27 Rabīʿ II 836/21 December 1432 (see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 27r, lines 12-15, transcribed below). As the title indicates, the work is divided into a first part on arithmetic (علم الحساب, ff. 4r-21v) and a second on geometry (علم المساحة, f. 21v-27r), each with an introduction and various sub-sections (فصول), the titles of which are rubricated with digits indicating their length (in number of lines). An editorial system employing alphanumeric markers is explained on ff. 3v and 5r. The text is preceded by a biographical notice about the author, written after his death (f. 2r). Begins (f. 3v, lines 1-3): الحمد لله الحسيب الفرد حمدًا كثيرًا ما له من عدّ ثم الصلاة والسلام أبدًا على الرسول الهاشمي أحمدًا وآله وصحبه عترته وتابع سنته في أمته Ends (f. 27r, lines 7-11): من مسح سطحي حائط قد قوما تأتي السطوح فا ضرب العرض بما في نصف قوسيه آتي وما بدأ فا ضرب بطول يأتِ جرم أبدًا والحمد لله على التمام وأفضل الصلاة والسلام على النبي وآله والصحب ما دُوِّنَت أسماؤهم في الكتب ويغفر الله لمن أنشأها ومن قرأ فيها ومن رءآها Colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text.
