Notlar	A work on fiqh, an epitome of the work called al-Hidāyah by ʻAlī ibn Abī Bakr al-Marghīnānī (d. 1196 or 7). \| Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1a., Copied by al-Ḥajj ibn Aḥmad ibn Khalīl in 827 (1424) -- colophon (fol. 132b)., 13 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil. Dark cream glazed paper visible laid lines (a few sheets at the end of the ms. appear to be on different paper and one has a watermark). Extensive marginal and within the text annotation throughout. Fol. 1a has a table of contents. Some water and worm damage to paper., Incipit: حمد من جعل العلم اجل المواهب الهنية واسناها وعلى المراتب السنية واسماها احسن ما يفتتح به الكلام, Explicit: وفى غنم مذبوحة فيها ميتة وهى اقل واكل فى الاختيار \| Marbled paper over pasteboard on covers and envelope flap. Light brown leather on spine and purple buckram on fore edge flap. Lining to the envelope flap in same marbled paper and lining to the fore edge flap in same purple buckram, while the covers have no lining and a blue layer of pasteboard is visible.
