The text is followed on fol. 148a by 9 lines of poetry attributed to al-Shāfiʻī written by the same hand as the main text. | Ms. codex., Incipit Shiʻr lil-Shāfiʻī (fol. 148a): اقول لها والعيس قد جدّ في السرا اعدّ لفقدي ما استطعت من الصبر, Title from rubric on fol. 1b., Physical description: 18 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh, in black ink with use of red and blue for headings and re-inking; marks consisting of three red or blue dots at beginning, centre, and end of each line; yāʼ for alif maqṣūrah.
