Notlar Reworking of al-Jāmiʻ al-ṣaghīr by al-Shaybānī, a work on Ḥanafī fiqh. | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على خير خليقة محمد وآله وصحبه الطيّبين الطاهرين قال الشيخ الامام الاجل حسام الدين عمر بن عبد العزيز البخارى نعمه الله اما بعد فانّ مشايخنا رحمهم الله كانوا يعظمون هذا الكتاب تعظيما ويقدمون على ساير الكتب, Explicit: ويصير من فروض الاعيان ولو اشترى بثمن مجهول معاين يسقط به حق الشفعة, Physical description: 13 lines per page. Written in black ink with use of red. Light cream paper with laid lines and pulp visible. Marginal and interlinear ḥāshiyah. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including a note on the number of leaves in the copy. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "116". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 944"., Origin: Copied by ʻAlī ibn ʻUthmān in Ramaḍān 873 (colophon, fol. 211b). | Modern binding, consisting of dark purple cloth over pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Light purple paper pastedowns and free endpaper. | Ownership statement in the name of Aḥmad Najīb ibn Aḥmad Ṭāhir, dated Rabīʻ I [12]81[Aug.-Sept. 1864] on fol. 1a.
