On two pages before first is the beginning of a work on grammar., Collation: Paper ; fol. 104 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 15 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red on folios 1-9, 20-41 and 102-105, Description: Rubricated ; overlining in red ; watermarks (hand-star) ; two types of paper ; MS in good condition with a few folios stained with dampness and mended., Decoration: First page has simple illuminated headpiece in silver-flecked gray., Origin: MS dated 944 after the colophon (fol. 104a)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحىم وبه نستعىن. الحمد لله الذي انزل من السماء الفرقان, Colophon: تم شرح المصباح المسمى بالافتتاح بعون الله الملك الوهاب \| Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and paper.
