Notlar Treatise on rhetoric (ʻilm al-balāgha), based on the author's epitome Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ, to which this present work is like a commentary, with material from Miftāḥ al-ʻulūm [by al-Sakkākī] and Dalāʼil al-iʻjāz and Asrār al-balāghah by ʻAbd al-Qāhir al-Jurjānī (preamble, fol. 2b). The text is followed on fol. 213b-218a by a gloss by ʻUbayd Allāh ibn Masʻūd ibn Tāj al-Sharīʻah, entitled Ajwibat iʻtirāḍāt fī al-Talkhīṣ wa-al-Īḍāḥ ʻalá Sāḥib al-Miftāḥ, apparently written by the same hand. It is preceded on fol. 1b-2a by a short text written by a later hand on the definition of "al-ḥaqīqah", with an interlinear and marginal gloss. | Ms. composite codex., Title from preamble (fol. 2b, l. 3)., Marginal and interlinear annotations, apparently by the same hand as the main text. Several small slips of paper with annotations inserted between folios.
