Inscription in Arabic numerals on fol. 1a: "847"., Layout: 19 lines per page., Description: Written in medium small script in black ink with use of red. Dark cream paper with laid lines and pulp visible. Fol. 1-8: later replacement, on biscuit European paper. The two last fol. (fol. 171-172) written in a more elegant naskh., Origin: According to colophon, copied in 847 H. (fol. 172a)., Incipit: احمد الله على عظمة جلاله حمد غريق بمطالعة جماله ... وبعد فانى بعد ان شرحت كتاب الكافية فى النحو اولا مع ايرادات ... [2أ] ... قوله الكلمة لفظ وضع لمعنى مفرد اعلم ان معرفة هذا الحد موقوفة على معرفة اللفظ, Explicit: فانك اذا قلت فى يا زيدون اضربُنّ اضربوا فى الوقف وفى يا امراة اضربنّ اضربى فى الوقف لم يعلم انه يدل على النون او المحذوف المردود وليكن هذا اخر الكلام فى هذا الكتاب وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه اجمعين \| Type III (without flap) binding in dark brown leather over paper pasteboards.
