[3أ] ... اما بعد فهذا كتاب يصغر للحافظ حجمه, Explicit: منعنا الشركة او للمسجد من غير ذكر اتفاق يبطلها واجازها تمت, Physical description: 9 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh with elements of taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Cream paper with pulp visible. Ḥāshiyah and short excerpts, mainly fatwas, on the margins and between the lines, apparently by the same hand as the main text. Table of contents on fol. 2a. Several short excerpts on fol. 1a-2a. Lower margin of some leaves worm-eaten., Inscription in Arabic numerals in red pencil on a label pasted on the upper cover: "346". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 1382"., Origin: Copy completed by Qāsim ibn SLī in Dhū al-Qaʻdah 866? [July-Aug. 1462] (colophon, fol. 212b). | Dark purple leather over pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Silver stamping on covers and fore-edge flap.
