Notlar An abridgment of al-Tadhkirah al-hādiyah, a work on medicine by ʻIzz al-Dīn Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn Ṭarkhān al-Suwaydī. Incomplete at end. | Ms. codex., Title supplied by cataloger., Marginal notes. The authorship of this abridgment is not certain. It has been attributed to Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Qūṣūnī and to ʻAbd al-Wahhāb al-Shaʻrānī. Short astrological inscription followed by a listing of the rising times of zodiac signs (fol. 1a). Selection from "Kitāb al-Mūjaz sharḥ al-Qāhirah" on mummies, and a brief addition labeled "Hādhā al-ruʼyah ʻalá ayyām al-shahr" (fol. 227b)., Collation: Paper ; fol. 227 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; some paper lightly tinted yellow ; watermarks (coat-of-arms?) ; MS in good condition., Origin: Probably from the XVIIth century., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ... استفتح بحمد لله وشكر نعمته ... وبعد فقد جمعت في هذه التذکرة, Ending: ... تفاح ورقه الاخضر | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and paper.
