Headpiece in blue and gold on the first opening with textblock frame of blue line designs (f. 1v). Page-opening frame of colored (blue and red) and gold leaves on first and last opening (f. 1v-2r, 241v-242r). Gold foliate page-opening frame on three sides throughout; the frame has been partially or fully trimmed on pages near the beginning. Rubrications in blue and red. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 13 long lines in cloudbands; border-ruled. Title from colophon (f. 144a). Manuscript codex.. A collection of prayers attributed to Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn, the fourth Shiite Imam. The copy is written on somewhat pointed cloudbands; gold foliate page frames throughout.
