Origin: Copy completed in 24 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1113 AH (f. 142r). Shelfmark: MS Or 209. Decoration: Textblock border-ruled in gold and double blue with the text on cloudbands throughout. Headpiece in blue and gold on the first opening with textblock frame of blue line designs (f. 1v). Page-opening frame of colored (blue and red) and gold leaves on first and last opening (f. 1v-2r, 241v-242r). Gold foliate page-opening frame on three sides throughout; the frame has been partially or fully trimmed on pages near the beginning. Rubrications in blue and red. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 13 long lines in cloudbands; border-ruled. Title from colophon (f. 144a). Manuscript codex.. A collection of prayers attributed to Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn, the fourth Shiite Imam. The copy is written on somewhat pointed cloudbands; gold foliate page frames throughout.
