Contents listing on upper board lining (likely in Yahuda's hand) and on opening 'title page' (p.5). | Shelfmark: Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, Special Collections Research Center, Isl. (vertical), chain lines spaced 28 mm. apart (horizontal), and hand / glove watermark (see p.90, compare nos. 11 and 12 in Velkov, Les Filigranes dans les documents Ottoman), thinner and far less glossy. Decoration: Keywords and section headings rubricated in some texts ; overlining in red ; textual dividers in the form of red discs ; hāʼ musalsalah of قوله in quite ornate flourishes in red (see p.15, etc.). Script: Naskh ; at least two hands, possibly Egyptian [?] in narrow and bolder lines ; one more angular, cramped and compact ; the other larger and more elegant ; mainly serifless (though occasional serifs irregularly appear) with effect of tilt to the left, elongation of horizontal strokes, curvilinear descenders, open and closed counters, pointing mainly in distinct dots.
