Ms. 919 Origin: Lacks dated colophon ; likely copied in Egypt in the late 1930s and bound for James Heyworth-Dunne (d.1974). Accompanying materials: Tipped in at opening (paginated pp.1-32), half-sheets carrying "الجزء السادس من مطالع السعود تلخيص مصباح الانس بين المعقول والمشهود شرح مفتاح غيب الجمع والوجود" Former shelfmark: Mich. Ms. temp. no. 68 Binding: Boards covered in dark green cloth with dark green leather over spine (quarter binding) ; pastedowns and flyleaves in wove paper printed with a floral vegetal pattern in green ; spine gold-stamped with title and decorative accents over raised bands "مطالع السعود | J.H.D." ; sewing difficult to examine ; stuck-on endbands (blue and white stripe) ; overall in fairly good condition. Support: Wove paper, at least two different types. Script: Ruqʻah ; quick, compact, modern hand in a medium to bold line ; serifless and freely ligatured with mainly closed counters, slight effect of inclination to the right, pointing somewhat careless and in strokes rather than distinct dots ; occasionally changes ink (back and forth between black and now grey-blue) and line thickness (see p.123, etc.). Layout: Written in roughly 16-24 lines per page ; not frame-ruled with lines sloping up. Collation: Pages between sections left blank or partially blank (to serve as 'title pages,' see pp.33, 72-73, 112-113) ; opening leaves (pp.1-32) on tipped in half-sheets ; pagination in black ink, Hindu-Arabic numerals (see pp.34-57) ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization. Explicit: "المتكلم منه في هذا الفصل والله يقول الحق ويهدي من يشاء الى صراط مستقيم" Incipit: "وبه كان ما كان وبه يكون ما يكون الاصل الرابع عشر في تعين صورة الكرسي بعد تعين صورة العرش ثم ظهر عن الحق لانه مبدأ كل ظهور وبه اي بتجليه الاحدى الساري في المراتب ..."
