A treatise on the words of ikhlās, the phrase "Lā ilāha illā Allāh". | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1a., 14 lines per page. Written in a medium script in black ink with use of red. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper., Origin: Copied by Muḥammad Dāwūd and completed at the end of Jumādá al-Ūlá '57, i.e. 1257 (1841) -- colophon (fol. 57a)., Incipit: رب يسر قال الفقير الي عفو الله ولطفه الحقي محمد بن محمد سبط المرصفي الحمد لله المعطي الوهاب ... اما بعد فقد ورد على اسئلة في كلمة الاخلاص, Explicit: وحديث رسوله الذي ارسله بشيراً ونذيراً ولو كان من عند لوجدا فيه اختلافا كثيراً وكفي با وببا وكفى با نصيراً وصلى على سيدنا محمد واله وصحبه اجمعين سبحان ربك رب العزة عما يصفون وسلام على المرسلين والحمد رب العالمين امين | Ms. is unbound but inside a binding which is half leather with yellow and pink paper with black print pattern on covers and the envelope flap, and red leather on spine and fore edge flap.
