A treatise on the words of ikhlās, the phrase “Lā ilāha illā Allāh”. | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1a., 14 lines per page. Written in a medium script in black ink with use of red. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper., Origin: Copied by Muḥammad Dāwūd and completed at the end of Jumādá al-Ūlá '57, i.e. 1257 (1841) -- colophon (fol. 57a)., Incipit: A Lord who facilitates said the poor, to the pardon and kindness of God, the true Muhammad ibn Muhammad, the grandson of Al-Marsafi. Praise be to God, the Giver and the Giver... As for what follows, he responded to questions in the word sincerity, Explicit: And the hadith of His Messenger, whom He sent as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and if it had been from him, they would have found in it much disagreement. And may blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions. Glory be to your Lord, Lord of glory above what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to the Lord of the worlds, Amen | Ms. is unbound but inside a binding which is half leather with yellow and pink paper with black print pattern on covers and the envelope flap, and red leather on spine and fore edge flap.
