The manuscript contains text from Bāb Qawl al-Nabī li-al-anṣār in Bāb Manāqib al-anṣār to the end of Kitāb al-Nikāḥ. The manuscript has been restored in the National Library. 'Alī b. Muḥammad al-Ishlīmī (fols. 2r-109v); fol. 1v is a later replacement in a different hand. Oriental paper. Rubrics.. Text vocalised. Catchwords. Marginal notes by the main copyist. The phrase al-Juz' al-thālith min Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī is written, in another hand, in purple ink on fol. 1v. Note of purchase in Maghribī and black ink, fol. 1r: al-Faqīh... al-Ṭāhir b. ‘Alī al-Aḥṣaynī aṣlan al-Riyāḍī...(?) bought the MS on 20th Dhū al-Qa'dah 1191/20th December 1777 for 15 darāhim fiḍḍah sikkīyah (sic). This text is followed by two illegible signatures. Another note records that the manuscript was examined by Yaḥyá b. Muḥammad b. Yūsuf b. al-Ḥājj Muḥammad in the same year.
