Malzemeler ve teknikler Wool pile on cotton foundation, asymmetric knot. Warp: white cotton; Z3S; depressed; 18 knots per inch (72 per dm). Weft: very light brown (natural); cotton; S spun, unplied, 2 parallel threads per shoot; 3 shoots after each row of knots; 8 rows of knots per inch (30 per dm). Pile: wool; 9 colours: red, light red, yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, dark brown, white; asymmetrical knot open to left and tied around 2 warp threads. Side finish: 1 cord oversewn with red wool. End finish: top - plain weave folded back under lining; lower - also concealed by lining. Cotton Wool Knotted Pile
Fiziksel açıklama Carpet Design: Field: dark blue ground with ogival lattice in white forming 5 offset rows plus 2 almost complete rows enclosing a band of a red rosette and an arrangement of 4 red blossoms around a central diamond. Main border: light red ground with red meander outlined in light blue with a diagonal spray of 3 white flowers which separate rosettes in dark brown and red, on either side of which is a dark blue band. Guard stripes: Inner and outer - yellow ground with a double meander in dark brown with a red blossom and a blue pointed leaf. In the centre of the lower inner border are 2 downward pointing leaves breaking the sequence; in the upper inner are 2 upward and 2 downward pointing leaves. In the upper outer border are a pair of downward pointing leaves.
