Fiziksel açıklama
Dress fabric, silk satin brocaded with silk and metal thread faced with woven silk. Displayed behind glass. 5 shaft satin. Warp: dark blue silk. Weft: dark blue-purple silk. Brocading wefts: dark pink and green silk and gilt metal strip S-wound on yellow silk core. Pieced: 3 pieces seamed to form a section along top which has been added to the main piece. Dark blue ground with 9 and one partial band of identical botehs: in the main piece and in the 2 in the upper left, the botehs all bend to the left. There is a small root system and an outline of small buds in metal thread. The main band of the boteh is pink with a floral pattern in metal thread. The centre has a dark blue ground with a floral spray above a pair of leaves. In the top right hand section, the direction of the botehs in the 2nd band is reversed - so this comes from another fabric. Facing; bias cut red silk facing visible on 3 sides.
