Dress fabric of tapestry woven woollen twill. Stripes, from left to right: [1] trances of a yellow ground. [2] narrow red ground stripe with an isolated floral sprig in dark blue, white and yellow. [3] medium width with pale turquoise ground with a large but indistinct motif probably based on floral elements in red, white and dark green with some light brown details. [4] as [1] [5] wide stripe with a white ground and a curving line of bud-like segments in dark blue and red with yellow details. To the left of this is a vertical light brown stem with a dark blue flowers and leaves with red and yellow details. [6] as 1] [7] as [3] [8] as [1] [9] as [5] but the ground is yellow and the details are in red and white. Warp: yellow and white wool, both with S-twist; red wool and light grey wool [used in the turquoise stripe]. Weft: yellow, red and white wool, all S-twist; pale turquoise, dark green, dark blue, light brown.
