Each register is accompanied by an Arabic inscription included: âJamiâ al-Qalâaâ (Mosque of Mohammad Ali at the Citadel of Salahdin, Cairo); âRaâs al-Tinâ (Palace of Mohammad Ali in Alexandria); âMasalat Firâunâ (Obelisk of the Pharaoh); and the signiature of âHasan Fahmiâ. Egypt, dated 1281H./1864.
