A fragment of a what appears to be a border. Probably Egyptian, ca. AD700-1000. Slit-tapestry woven with linen warp and silk weft. Highly colourful. A dark blue trefoil motif is bordered in white then surrounded by red, green and yellow. The border is edged with red and white lines.
