A treatise on hunting and various kinds of game. First bāb contains an alphabetical list of principal animals with concise descriptions of their properties and habits. Catch words, marginal notes and correction on the glosses. Text is divided into a muqaddīmah (page 4), three bābs (pages 23, 86, 91), and a very short khātima (page 95). 15 lines per page, Indian naskh and nasta'līq., rubricated. Title and copy date from the colophon. Manuscript. Explicit : جمله حىوان از پى انسان بکش / باز انسان را بکش از بهر هش Presented to the library by Casey Wood in 1927. Half bound black moire cloth, hinges repaired with blue tapes, some pages are badly damaged by worm and some are restored, stab sewn.
