| Notes | The year 1940 started with a disaster for the Turkish scientific community. We lost four more great scientists and intellectuals, one after the other, in February and March; Ahmed Tevhid, Hüseyin zâde Ali, Besim Ümer, İsmail Sâib respectively. I will briefly mention only two of them, master Ahmed Tevhid and master İsmail Sâib Sencer. |
