Notes
The great master İsmail Saib Sencer, whose death we buried on Saturday (March 23, 1940 and March 13, 1359) after a short illness lasting eight to ten days, was one of the most well-known and most knowledgeable, and at the same time the most reclusive, humble and devout figures not only of the Turks and Muslims, but also of the world's scientific world, which is busy with oriental studies. He was known by European scholars rather than us Turks. An orientalist coming to Türkiye from Europe or a scholar coming to Istanbul from Egypt, India or other Islamic worlds would definitely stop by the Library in Beyazıt, visit this enlightened scholar inside and out and solve his problems.
