The current research aims to identify, describe and analyze the prevention of social deviations in the society based on the use of the words of Hazrat Ali regarding the role of companionship. In order to answer the main question of the research, using the grounded theory method, propositions related to the topic of companionship were extracted from Nahj al-Balagha, and then the data were coded and categorized and the results were analyzed and interpreted. According to the findings of the research, adopting a set of approaches in the category of companionship is an obstacle to learning and committing deviant actions. This can be achieved by focusing on the importance of companionship and choosing companionship in social interactions, avoiding certain companionships, avoiding presence in certain places and the role of location in human social behavior, introducing some role models for companionship.
