Notes To commemorate the nine hundredth anniversary of the death of Ibn Sina, the great scholar of the East, a great meeting was held at Istanbul University with the participation of well-known European scholars, and on this occasion, the issue of race of the Eastern genius, as well as his personality, works, medical and philosophical system, were examined. The sole aim of these researches, which were carried out by the high scholars of the West and our country and with their participation, was to know and introduce the great scholar in his entire identity. Therefore, while his achievements in philosophy, medicine and other sciences, his characteristics, and the extent to which he was influenced by Greek and Eastern philosophies were examined, his personality and, of course, the issue of his race were also investigated.
