Common traditions and rituals among people have been formed over time and have not been immune from harm and deviations. Correcting these damages requires recognizing them and realistic planning to replace the correct culture in that field. Funerals are one of the traditional rites, which, despite the authentic Islamic instructions in the way they are held, are not immune from pests and damages. Due to the specificity of the funeral ceremony of Yasouj people like other regions of the country, the orders and recommendations of Islam in the field of funeral ceremonies have been recorded using a documentary method, and with the method of ethnography and the use of participatory observation and in-depth interview techniques, the harms and deviations in these ceremonies have been categorized and expressed with a comparative-analytical method. Among the results of this research, we can point out harms such as extreme impatience, ingratitude and wrong behaviors such as scratching the face, pulling hair by the family of the deceased, gossiping and telling lies about the deceased, lack of learning in gatherings, eye-to-eye in holding the ceremony, heavy expenses for hosting the ceremony, inappropriate decisions about the deceased's wife, belief in superstitions and slandering the deceased's family. did
