Notes
In general, the examination of the role of governments and economic organizations in the development of societies has been discussed in detail due to the dominance of the psychological approach over the sociological approach in explaining organizations. What is neglected in the scientific literature inside and outside the country is the role of non-governmental organizations in social development. Non-governmental organizations, whose number is increasing day by day, are divided into two general categories: sacred and non-sacred. Discussions have been held about non-governmental organizations (SEMAN), but conceptualization in the field of faith-based organizations (SAM), which are non-governmental and holy organizations, has remained abandoned. A faith-based organization is more effective than other non-governmental organizations in providing social services due to its faith capacity. This article tries to highlight the importance of such organizations. For this purpose, firstly by explaining the normative rationality and conceptualization of faith-based organizations, it justifies the creation of this type of organization, then it examines such organizations and finally, the role of faith-based organizations in providing social services is discussed.
