Notes Ataturk is great with what he did. We said this greatness when he was alive. We said it in the days when we mourned his death; we say today. We, who have attained this greatness, will say it until we die, our children will tell it after us, their children will tell it, history will tell it. It is a famous saying attributed to both Hegel and Schiller: “History is the court of the world”. The past gives account to the future before this court. Every nation and everyone who plays a role in the fate of nations passes through this court. Those who rule the world are sentenced in this court.
