Notes The money, medals, jewelery and ornaments accumulated in the Istanbul Archaeological Museum for more than half a century were arranged in collections and put into public use as of March 15, 1937. A hall on the upper floor of the museum, facing the east, has been allocated for the display of these beautiful collections, whose material and spiritual values are priceless and which are undoubtedly considered an event in the world of archeology and museology as well as in the cultural life of the country. This is one of the largest and brightest halls of the Museum, overlooking the blue waters of the Bosphorus over the green trees of the park.
