Notes Using the themes of cross-cultural communication theories, this article analyzes the content of the Quran and the exegeses of this Holy Book to examine the possibility of an attributable theory to the Quran and providing its propositional body with the Quranic statements. Results indicate that the Quran is deeply concerned with theoretical and practical issues of cross-cultural and Intercultural communication, especially those of cultural variability, communication behaviors, acculturation, and face threat and management. It also shows that Islamic and Quranic statements are able to produce an independent approach and theory concerning the theoretical and applied questions in this field; and draws the attention of scholars of religious and social sciences to the dimensions and the capabilities of the Islamic viewpoints in this regard.
Sample Text Islām va ʻulūm-i ijtimāʻī (Online), 1389-11, Vol.2 (4), p.7-38
