(horizontal), and single chain lines (vertical) spaced 23-26 mm. apart, with no watermark distinctly visible (perhaps lost in folding / trimming), heavily sized and burnished to glossy, sturdy though transluscent, cream in color; folia of other gatherings chiefly in non-European (likely Persian) laid paper with roughly 6 laid lines per cm.
