Notes The growth of fundamentalist groups in the Middle East and other continents, including North Africa (Boko Haram), shows fundamental changes in the political, social and religious scene, which cannot be ignored in any way from the influence of these groups in the world's political sphere, especially in the Middle East. Among these fundamentalist groups is the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), which was formed as a result of the weakness of nation-states, religious nationalists, and disillusionment and individualism caused by capitalism and globalization, and it spread rapidly and created many problems and challenges. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of ISIS in the process of globalization. Also, the hypothesis of the current research is that: ISIS has had a positive effect on the process of globalization, and due to the implementation of policies known as the Marshall Plan by the United States and the domination system, it has accelerated this process. This research, with descriptive-analytical method, seeks to find an answer to this research question.
