Copyist: Ahmad al-Yamanī / Aḥmad al-Yamanī (Shihab al-Din Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad al-Husseini al-Yamanī). Place of copy: Daghestan. Notes: “Tāj al-lugha wa ṣiḥāḥ al-ʿarabiyya” by Abū Naṣr Ismāʿīl b. Ḥammād al-Jawharī. Volume 2. Copiest is Shihāb al-Dīn Aḥmad b. Ibrahim b. Muḥammad al-Husaynī al-Yamanī (d. 1450). Prominent Daghestan scholar, originally from Yemen, imam, faqih, teacher. He was a teacher in Al-Azhar, spent some time in Central Asia, then moved to Derbend, and from there to Kumukh, where he died of the plague.
