Notes
The aim of the research was to determine whether the rumor that the Cacabey Madrasah, which was built in Kırşehir by the governor of Kırşehir, Nureddin Cibril ibni Caca, during the time of Gıyasüddin Keyhusrev ibni Kılıç Arslan in 1272 (Hijri 671), was a delegation madrasah and the existing rumors in this regard correspond to the truth. It is clearly understood from both the inscription on the door and the architectural style of the building that this building, which is now used as a mosque, was formerly a madrasah. The issue to be determined was whether this madrasah was also devoted to the teaching of astronomy and whether it contained an observation well for this purpose.
