| Notes | Life systems in any society are formed in order to respond to the needs and in accordance with the beliefs and cultural values of that society. The success and sustainability of these systems depend more than anything else on the compatibility of their foundations with the laws and realities governing the universe, especially the human world. Livelihood needs are one of the most important needs for which many types of socialist and liberal systems have been formed so far. Undoubtedly, one of the main foundations of these systems is their attitude towards the reality of the individual and society and the type of relationships between them. The claim of the present research is that the Holy Quran has proposed a special concept called "Ummat" for the human world, which is different from common concepts such as individual and state. This concept has important effects and rulings, especially in the field of human livelihood needs. "Social Takaful" is one of the most important Quranic and Islamic concepts that has been mentioned in this connection as one of the pillars of the social security system and response to livelihood needs. The purpose of the research is to explain the concepts, foundations, characteristics and interactions of these two concepts in connection with the issue of social security, in the Islamic approach. The method used in this research, from the point of view of the goal, is such as fundamental-theoretical research, and from the point of view of the nature and method, it is considered in the field of descriptive-analytical research. The article comes to the conclusion that in the Quranic culture, the Islamic Ummah is introduced as a single body, the relationship between its members is a relationship of the kind of vela and dasgistr, and therefore, social takaful is one of the characteristics of the Islamic Ummah, without which no mechanism will be able to successfully and sustainably solve the livelihood problems of the society. |
