Notes	On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of our beloved Republic, in this extraordinary issue of Belleten, I have been granted the honor of publishing the memories of Atatürk, the Founder of the Republic, titled "History of the Battle of Anafartalar", which most vividly shows his military genius, by dedicating to his sacred memory. These memories were written in Atatürk's handwriting in a school notebook. Undoubtedly, one of the most valuable aspects of these articles is that they describe the events in the heat of the events. We can feel the excitement of the events better than the character of the article, as some parts are written in very harsh forms. When these articles are published in facsimile form, it will be possible to see Atatürk's energy, excitement and nervousness.
