Notes Starting from May 1, 1944, I will go to Kars province and drill in the mound in Azat Village. I will stay in Kars for 17-20 days, including travel days. In this way, efforts will be made to confirm the first statement I made at the third history congress in my article published in Belleten numbered (27) about the prehistory of Kars, and to resolve the issue of cross-border and internal cultural relations. Prehistoric research and drilling will be carried out in the necessary places in the silkes quarries in the Kavak township of Sivas province and in the Kangal district (Höyük-Değirmesi), which was previously reported to the Authority, and then in Sivas, Zara, Hafik, Suşehri and throughout the Kelkit valley, up to the Ladik district.
