Notes	On the 55th page of the History translation written by Kritovulos of Imroz, one of the Byzantine scholars who lived during the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror and wrote down seventeen years of historical facts and presented them to the Conqueror from the date of his accession to the Ottoman throne until 1467, it is stated that 'When the siege of Istanbul began, the Conqueror ordered the destruction of some fortified castles around Istanbul, and that Terapya and Studio castles were among them. It is written that Fatih was attacked and destroyed with his cannons and his guards were forced to surrender, and the commander of the navy, Baltaoğlu, was sent to destroy and capture the Pringipos (Büyükada) castle.
